Oil Control Herbal Hair Tea - For All Hair Types

This Herbal Hair Tea by Goose Ridge Soaps is a focused scalp and hair treatment formulated to support strength, balance oil production, and promote long-term hair health. As a dry herbal hair tea, it allows for controlled preparation and freshness with each use, making it a practical and effective addition to a disciplined hair care routine.

The blend combines horsetail, lemon balm, nettle leaf, peppermint, and rosemary to address common scalp concerns while strengthening hair from the root. Horsetail contains high levels of naturally occurring silica that help reduce buildup and support stronger hair structure. Lemon balm and peppermint help regulate excess oil and calm irritation, while nettle leaf and rosemary improve scalp circulation, reduce dandruff, and enhance shine.

Preparation involves steeping 1–2 teaspoons of the dry blend in 8oz of water using boiling water (cooled before use) or room-temperature water overnight. Strain and refrigerate for up to one week. Apply as a final rinse after shampooing and conditioning by pouring over hair and scalp and massaging gently. The tea may be left in or rinsed out. To use as a monthly buildup remover, add 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to the prepared tea and massage into scalp. To avoid overdrying hair, add vinegar to the rinse no more than once a month.
