Project Lather is a community-driven initiative founded to provide essential personal hygiene products to individuals and families in need. The project was born out of compassion and awareness when one of the founders of Goose Ridge Soaps toured the NESAP Food Pantry and recognized a significant gap — while food and household items were available, personal care essentials like soap and laundry detergent were often missing. This experience inspired the creation of Project Lather, a program dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of circumstance, has access to quality hygiene products that support dignity and well-being.

Through Project Lather, Goose Ridge Soaps channels its craft and resources into making a tangible difference in the community. By donating handmade soap and partnering with local organizations, the initiative promotes both cleanliness and kindness. Each bar distributed not only helps meet a basic human need but also symbolizes care, connection, and the belief that small acts of generosity can have a lasting impact.

100% of your donation amount goes to the production of natural soaps and laundry powder that is donated to the NESAP Food Pantry, serving families in Carroll and Baltimore County in Maryland.
